What's the difference between a fractional partner and hiring a full-time exec?
Hiring a senior CTO, CPO or CMO is a long-term commitment that in many companies doesn't fully justify itself, especially in early or growth phases. A fractional partner gives you the same level of criteria and experience with variable dedication based on project phase. Useful when you need expert leadership without committing to a full hire.
How much time do you dedicate to each project?
Depends on the project and phase. Typically 1-3 days per week in fractional mode. In critical moments (launch, validation, fundraising) we can increase dedication temporarily. The important thing is being there when decisions need to be made, not filling hours.
Do you work with startups at idea stage or only advanced projects?
Both. With founders at idea stage we can validate before building, avoid common mistakes and accelerate zero-to-one. With ongoing projects we bring outside perspective and unblock bottlenecks. The question is whether it makes sense for both sides, not which phase you're in.
Do you take care of execution or just advise?
Both. As fractional CTO we don't just advise: we make tech decisions, do code reviews, manage the team if needed. As CPO or CMO same: we prioritize roadmap, write specs, optimize campaigns. The difference with a classic consultant is that we get into the day-to-day.
What guarantees do I have if the collaboration doesn't fit?
We work in quarterly blocks and review objectives every month. If at any point we see we're not delivering the expected value or the dedication doesn't fit, we talk and adjust or end the collaboration cleanly. No fine print, no penalties.
